Tokai is approximately 11 minutes (7 km) away via M42.

Reaching Cape Town International Airport via M3 and Settlers Way/N2 takes approximately 24 minutes (25 km). If you're headed to the CBD, it's just a 21-minute (17 km) drive via the M3.

Constantia has a history dating back to 1685 and has a rich past. Governor Simon van der Stel was granted an 891-morgen estate, which, over time, was divided into Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, and Bergvliet. Groot Constantia, renowned for its wine production under Hendrik Cloete,and  gained prominence for its wines. 

In 1960, the Cape government acquired Klein Constantia, and later, in 1968, it was returned to the state and merged into Groot Constantia. Constantia continues to thrive today, primarily exporting wine, grapes, and vegetables.
