Rob Stefanutto, joined the real estate profession in 1999, and quickly found his niche as a marketer par excellence of new property developments. Rob has built on his training in marketing and advertising and his experience in product development to produce a system that offers the developer real time information on prime residential development locations and current consumer trends based on market analysis. This service includes full marketing of the development from conceptualisation through to offering designer advice on layouts, sizing and price. Depending on the size of the development, Rob manages all aspects of the project. On larger projects, a team is assembled under his direction that fits the profile of the consumer and scope of the project that is to be marketed. With a keen understanding of the market and acumen for sales and negotiation, Rob manages and oversees the company’s finances, management and expansion planning.

Sindiswe Mabaso-Koyana

Business Executive

Sindiswe is a Chartered Accountant by profession with experience in the public and private sector. Her illustrious career includes being Managing Director ofViamax Logistics, Group CFO of Transnet, Executive Partner at Ernst & Young, Chairperson of the Armaments Corporation of South Africa and the Chairperson of the FIFA Audit and Compliance Committee. Sindiswe is the Founder Member and Former President of African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA). She now chairs the Advisory Board of AWCA. She is a renowned leader and champion in growth and development of young women. Sindiswe has been named one of the Top 20 Most Powerful Women in South Africa and was a Finalist for the Business Woman Award of South Africa in 2004. In 2013 she was nominated by The CEO Magazine’s Most Influential Women in business and the public sector. Sindiwe was the Chairperson of the Task teamof The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants which launched the paper on Meaningful Reporting on Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment(BBBEE) and is now the Chairperson of the Chartered Accountancy Sector Charter, AIH(Pty Ltd, as well as the Chairperson of the Advanced Group of Companies. Recently Sindiswe joined Dogon Group Properties and is working in conjunction with her husband Lwazi, to establish and develop the South African BEE Real Estate Academy.

Lwazi Koyana

Executive Director

Lwazi is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 20 year’s experience in the Investment Management and Corporate Finance fields. A key strength of Lwazi’s is in financial structuring and transaction management. Lwazi began his career as an articled clerk with Coopers & Lybrand and upon qualifying as CA in 1994, began his investments career as an Investment Analyst with Syfrets Managed Assets in Cape Town. Whilst at Syfrets, Lwazi worked very closely with the Chief Investment Officer in the management of the country’s first socially responsible unit trust the Community Growth Fund. His investments career saw him establish Infinity Asset Management. As Managing Director of Infinity, he was responsible for Investment Marketing, as well as Consumer Research in the beverages, retail, and food sectors. Lwazi was responsible for growing assets under management from zero to R4 Billion when the business was sold in 2001, less than four years since establishment. Recently, Lwazi joined Dogon Group Properties to assist with Corporate Governance and is working in conjunction with his wife Sindi, to establish and develop the South African BEE Real Estate Academy.

Alexa Horne

General Manager

Alexa Horne was born in Cape Town and was schooled at Springfield Convent. She went on to study BA LLB at UCT and graduated in 1999. Thereafter she worked at a Law Firm in London for two years and then decided it was time to return to Cape Town. Alexa completed her articles at Cliffe Dekker in Cape Town and was admitted as an attorney in 2001. She then spent ten years at Investec, six of which were spent dealing with foreigners buying property in SA. This has given her vast experience in terms of the structuring of local and offshore transactions and exchange control regulations. Alexa then moved back into Law and headed up a Conveyancing practice in Cape Town. In 2018, Alexa joined Dogon Group Properties as the General Manager and is enjoying utilising skills learnt from both her financial and legal background. Alexa loves her early morning runs through the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town!

Dawn Dorfman started her career as an estate agent in her early twenties. She began selling small houses and was determined to expand to greater heights by becoming one of the top best-selling agents in her area. Dawn then progressed into the luxury market where she was once again highly successful. She won many top awards and was a finalist in the Nedbank Property Professional in 2003 and 2004.
