Dogon Group sponsored the TEARS Pet Day held at the Noordhoek Farm Village on Saturday, 10 November 2007. This was a fun filled day for pets and owners alike.

The “trot-a-thon” was followed by fun competitions including “cutest puppy” and “doggie tug of war”.   The Jungle Theatre production of “It’s a dogs life” was enjoyed by all. 

“We salute Marilyn Hoole and her TEARS (The Emma Animal Rescue Society) team for their dedication to improving the quality of life of animals around the Peninsula.

They work tirelessly in rescuing, rehabilitating and finding loving homes for dogs and cats, often found in the most distressing situations.”, says Dale de Ridder, Dogon Group Properties Noordhoek Agent.

Members of the public can also support TEARS with donations of unwanted household goods to their charity shops or with cash, which is always required to cover costs of food, veterinary bills, etc.
